Marie Graw
Studio Assistant
About Me
After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from DePauw University, then spending nearly a decade managing advertising campaigns for some of the world’s most recognizable brands, Marie is excited to be pursuing a new career path in Interior Design. While assisting with all studio needs at Britt Design Group, she is simultaneously earning her Master of Interior Design degree from the University of Texas School of Architecture, focusing on sustainability and wellness design. Her previous education and professional experience have provided her with extensive knowledge of how people are affected by their environments and how to communicate ideas, messages, and experiences strategically. She believes that every design element, from material selection to the architectural structure itself, can and should positively impact people’s well-being.
Marie also designs and fabricates custom furniture commissions on the side. She loves mixing materials and textures, from wood and steel to tile, concrete, and textiles.
When not studying, working, or fabricating furniture, Marie loves hiking with her Airedale Terriers named Hank and Duffy, seeing as much live music as possible, traveling, daydreaming about purchasing a historic home, and spending quality time with friends and family.
