Nestled in the scenic mountains of Vail, this 3,700 square foot home underwent a stunning renovation that harmoniously blended its rustic mountain lodge roots with modern architectural and interior design elements. The Austin homeowners sought a perfect getaway in their favorite Colorado destination, and Britt Design Group was entrusted with the task of achieving a balance between the old and the new.

BDG took care to preserve the essence of the original lodge while infusing the space with comfort and luxury. Over 20 log timbers were carefully selected and retained, becoming focal points that seamlessly coexist with modern architectural features, industrial metal finishes, and clean lines. By marrying the traditional and the modern, the team created an ambiance that feels fresh and refined without losing its inherent mountain home appeal.
